The Master of Education Degree in Special Education equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to work with students with diverse learning needs and abilities. The curriculum for this program consists of assessment and evaluation, instructional strategies, behavior management and inclusive education. The program consists of twelve 4-credit graduate courses in Education (48 credits overall) and the successful completion of a comprehensive portfolio.

Note: This program is exclusively offered through the C. Louis Cedrone International Education Center and is designed for teachers living and working abroad. It does not include licensure.

Program & Admissions Requirements

The applicant must have a U.S. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or the equivalent if one holds a foreign degree.

The applicant should have a preferred overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

The applicant must have at least 1-2 years teaching experience.
